It hurts to write this. I’ve been a Daredevil apologist since the Netflix days. But there’s a sense of “Multiverse fatigue” setting in, even among the most die-hard fans. The buzz in the writers’ rooms is that the MCU needs to get back to its street-level roots. While Charlie Cox is still giving it his all, the audience is asking for more “Kitchen” and less “Cosmos.” Tonight’s episode is being touted as a turning point—if they don’t stick the landing, the Man Without Fear might be facing a very quiet future.
